With their Week 6 bye providing some much-needed rest, the Minnesota Vikings, currently 5-0, are looking to further enhance their roster. The NFC North is proving to be a competitive division, and the Vikings are focused on maintaining their top position. One potential way to strengthen their offensive capabilities is by acquiring a running back before the trade deadline. Heavy Sports suggests that the Vikings could be interested in Los Angeles Chargers’ running back Keaton Mitchell.
According to Heavy Sports, a Day 3 draft pick could be enough for the Vikings to acquire Mitchell, who has managed 139 rushing yards over six games this season. Although he’s considered undersized at 5-foot-8, his speed was highly praised during his draft process. After going undrafted in 2023, Mitchell originally signed with the Ravens, where he played eight games as a rookie and posted impressive stats.
