Ravens’ HC Shifts Blame After Derrick Henry Fumble vs. Browns

In the aftermath of Derrick Henry’s pivotal fumble during the fourth quarter of the Baltimore Ravens’ 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns, head coach Jesse Minter chose to deflect blame from the veteran running back. Post-game, Minter addressed reporters, emphasizing a lack of defensive support after the fumble, stating, “It happened. It was a good play by them. (I’d) Like for us to be able to rise up and get a stop right there, and have each other’s back.”

While Henry acknowledged his mistake in the locker room, Minter insisted that nobody works harder on ball security. This fumble followed a troubling pattern for Henry, as he had previously struggled with ball security in earlier games against the Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions. Henry’s performance against Cleveland also showcased his difficulties, as he managed minimal yardage during crucial moments, ultimately hampering the Ravens’ offensive efforts.
