The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) announced free rides on all its transportation services for Election Day, scheduled for November 3. This initiative will allow passengers to utilize buses, trains, Metro Bike Share, and Metro Micro services without fare from 4 a.m. on November 3 to 3 a.m. on November 4.
To make voting more accessible, Metro has established 12 ballot drop-off boxes at various stations in the region. Additionally, the Metro Bike Share program will facilitate free 30-minute rides, with a promotional code needed for redemption. An interactive map has been created to assist residents in locating voting sites and drop boxes. Moreover, Metro will host a voting center from October 24 to November 2 at its main headquarters, with extended hours on Election Day.
