Kevin Knox II Waived by Orlando Magic, Possible Move to Europe
The Orlando Magic announced on Friday that they have released several players, including Kevin Knox II.

The Orlando Magic announced on Friday that they have released several players, including Kevin Knox II. Knox, who once played for the Golden State Warriors, is now a free agent and stands to earn a $91,000 bonus if he remains with the Magic’s NBA G League affiliate for a minimum of 60 days.
Recent reports from Alex Molina of EuroHoops indicate that Spanish team Unicaja Malaga is looking to add Knox to their roster following an injury to their starting power forward, Tyson Perez. Although Knox has no prior experience playing outside of the NBA, a potential signing could see him join former NBA players like Willy Hernangomez and Ignas Brazdeikis. Knox has not participated in an NBA game since the 2024-25 season, during which he averaged 3.3 points and 1.2 rebounds while with the Warriors. He spent the last season playing for the Windy City Bulls in the NBA G League, posting averages of 21.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists across 39 games.
