As the 2026-27 NBA season approaches, Gabe Vincent, who previously started as a point guard for the Los Angeles Lakers, is still searching for a team. Despite a mid-season trade to the Atlanta Hawks in 2026 and completing a three-year, $33 million contract, he finds himself as an unrestricted free agent.
In his last season, Vincent averaged 4.4 points, 1.4 assists, and one rebound. His performance led to the Lakers’ decision to trade him, although he could still offer valuable experience to a team in need of a steady ball handler. Notably, Vincent declined an opportunity with the New York Knicks, opting to wait for a more promising situation, which may now leave him regretting that choice as the new season looms.
