Injury Update: Anfernee Simons Listed as Questionable for 76ers Opener Against Knicks

The Philadelphia 76ers have provided their initial injury report for the 2026-27 NBA season, highlighting Anfernee Simons’ uncertain status as the team prepares for its game against the New York Knicks on October 20. Simons is currently listed as questionable due to left hamstring tightness and soreness. Having missed the entire preseason, his return to the court is uncertain, although recent practice participation has raised hopes for his debut.

In addition, the injury report features other players, with six in total listed, including Dominick Barlow and Tacko Fall, who are ruled out. Notably, both LeBron James and Joel Embiid are not included in the injury report, suggesting they will be available for the highly anticipated matchup, which will take place at Madison Square Garden.
