Brand New LeBron James Nike Mural in Philadelphia Catches Attention

A vibrant new mural of LeBron James has emerged on a Philadelphia building, capturing the attention of NBA supporters. At 41 years old, James continues to be the focal point of basketball discussions, whether through his gameplay or public art. Recently, he signed a two-year contract worth $7.9 million with the Philadelphia 76ers, joining them for his historic career milestone of playing with four teams, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.

The mural, spotted by sportswriter Anthony Dabbundo on X, features an intricately designed portrayal of James performing his iconic pregame powder toss, adorned with the Nike logo and the phrase ‘THE CHOSEN ONE’. It also highlights the Philadelphia area code, ‘215’, with the numbers ‘2’ and ‘5’ flanking ‘ONE’. NBA fans have taken to social media to express varying opinions, as the mural commemorates James’s upcoming debut with the 76ers against the New York Knicks on October 20th.
